Revolving Doors

The more we slave the more we get below average the looming threat.
Still not enough we want the lot eyes taken from what weve really got.
Clean water out of every tap your semi detatched on google maps.

we all know it could be alot worse afghanistan knows a much changed verse. building our piles making our stacks must go forward cant go back.the storys told in profit and loss with old school values coverd in moss.

Just look at the big boy banks guarding our money like we owe them thanks, its not like we've got a choice with credit ratings louder than voice.
5pence over my overdraft, £30 for the trouble you having a laugh?
I think its them we have to blame for making this country a monopoly game.

But then again you have to think like darwin said its swim or sink
of course this world is for the strongest theyre the ones that last the longest.
it used to be about water and light who can stand the cold at night.
but those old problems are now solved through trial and error we have evolved
that instinctive nature tho is still there through material measure we daily compare.

maybe it has gone too far when the girls think the best guys drive the best cars. Its become too hard another way with tv dreams and credit card play
latest plasmas better than the last sorry peugeot my cars fast
your clothes tell me all about you not enough time for point of view.

My neck hurts from looking up the ladder, medals of wealth laid across the platter,
dripping in armani best box seats regular visits to the beach.
Someone tell me wheres the sense in 16 bedrooms and a 20ft fence,
its all is not quite what it seems when youve got it all whats left to dream.

Believe in something believe in yourself turn adversity into ambition and blossom into wealth. And when I see you on that peak
do it for a reason dont be scared to speak
